Gus and Reimer are guaranteed to allow at least 1 bad goal pretty much EVERY game...if not more.

The worst part is firing Ron Wilson now wouldn't help because the team would have to learn a new system. They will likely have an adjustment period. Will NOT help us get into playoffs.

Sometimes, a coaching change pays instant returns because it lights a fire under the players.

Yeah, in some cases, there is temporary confusion as a new system is implemented. But look at a team like St. Louis with Hitchcock. A couple weeks went by and they went from out of a playoff spot to one of the best teams in the NHL and they haven't looked back.

I'd take a new coach even this late in the year. Couldn't get much worse.
