The year of the concussion...
I'm pretty sure they just used to play through it. I'm not trying to sound insensitive to the players who have them, but is it really that big of a deal?
An overwhelming majority of players who have suffered a concussion (or even multiple concussions) end up playing out their careers and live perfectly healthy lives.
It's not like these guys aren't compensated fairly for the risk they expose themselves to. |
