This is why you route for the dam team to win, make the playoffs, and not purposely tank down the stretch. The NHL draft is such a crap roll and it even more risky with DR running the show.
I would much rather see the team play some spring hockey even if they do get bounced in round one.

They both were Incredible Defenseman in two different Era's... If Lindstrom was in his prime in the 70's im sure he would of put up gawdy number's like 139 points in a season too...

Agreed. Lidstrom is an all time great, first ballot HOF'er, and one of the best ever. And that is not just IMO.

They did win and made the playoffs. Their GM made trades that gave them 4 firsts and 3 seconds. They had 8 picks in the top 80 that year.
