It's funny I didn't remember the game but now that you said that, I remember that feeling - JoeRussomanno
I laughed...sneered at the TV, and then cried myself to sleep. |

Maybe it's inconvenient for you blessed folk who don't have to work late this time of year, but I for one welcome any late starts. - BulliesPhan87

I'll never forget staying up till close to 1am watching a 0-0 game just to see Ryan Potulny end it with 20 or whatever seconds left. A classic - eayost
not sure if you were on the board that night, but many predicted a 1-0 loss with potulny doing the honors. there was a lot of going on.
protypical flyers. shutout by a backup, and being scored upon by an ex-teammate. |

I started at the mall. Working at the Acme drove me to want to get out and get a 40-hour job the last 3 years that I was there. |

It is (much) better than no job at all, but i wish my "40-hour job" really WAS 40 hours more like 60+ these days. And then you have people asking YOU for help with THEIR poop and they come in 2 hours later and leave 2 hours earlier.
[endrant]
I am searching for a good (read: polite) way to tell them to (frank) off.
Any suggestions? |

I'd be happy to help you at 8 tomorrow morning.
or
Stop by at 7 tonight and I'll see what I can do to walk you through it.
I am in that boat right now with a change in group/boss/responsibilities. I kept all I was doing, took from the old boss whose purview no longer contains those items, and do not have support of a boss who has not been hired yet. But at least I'm free to outsource and once I have the relationships with those freelancers and vendors clarified I'll be back to 40. |
