12 giveaways so far. - MrBuzzcut
There's the difference in the game. In addition, failed clears and 0-2 on the power play. Had chances in the first. A pretty awful second. |

Dybnuk stopped a breakaway and took everything away from Jake on the 2 on 1. Please, let's stop making excuses. He took 15 years to get over on the Hall goal and he failed to catch Eberle's which is becoming a common trend. Hey, he's made big saves too, so hopefully the Flyers get going. - Flyers1218
Eberle could have skated through his 5 hole. |

Not shredding him, he hasn't been dreadful. A few big stops, one soft goal. - PLindbergh31
A soft goal a game ain't getting it done. I thought he looked good in the 1st...maybe he had turned a page. And maybe he still will. Shut em down in the 3rd and let the team make a comeback. The Oilers are not a defensive juggernaut by any means. |

Crazy talk. It's nobody but Bryz' fault. I still fail to see why some people think the 2nd goal was weak. A premier goal scorer wide open in the slot should score there. Am I wrong? - Duran76
it was weak because he didn't get a good shot off. he hit bryz, and it still found it's way between his arm and pad and trickled over the line. nobody's missing the terrible turnover or highway he had to the net. you just want to see him bail out his team there in a 1-0 game. |

He's never been a big goal-scorer...at least not yet. Then again, neither was Simmonds until this year. - wolfhounds
i understand, but he did nothing after the beautiful feed from schenn.. heck if he shot it in dubbies chesk it would of been better, something |

They are only .02 goals a game better than the Flyers, essentially just as awful. |

I wish they would stop making Voracek so important on that first PP. He's up high on the right side of the Umbrella and you never see a shot from him. Heck, he rarely gets passed to anyway because Timonen and Giroux are too busy playing catch. Everyone who watch these games knows where the puck is going. Plus, when Voracek does get the puck, he's looking for the pass.
You put Jagr there, you have the best of 2 worlds. A guy who knows when to shoot and when to pass. I'm also thinking that maybe they should Hartnell out from the middle of the box. Maybe consider JvR. He's a guy who can pass, shoot, whatever is needed. He's got top notch skill. |

On a good shot? Yes. One that hits your glove just above your pad needs to be saved. That chance isn't better then a breakaway and yet Dubnyk made the save. |

Laviolette better change something up on that Power Play because any team will eat that PP up in a best of 7 games series. Too predictable. - roenick97
I think the PP is the least of our problems. I believe it's the 4th best PP in the league. I would much prefer that Lavy focus on the PK, and overall d-zone coverage until that starts to improve. Talk about something that will be exploited in a playoff series - we can't kill a single penalty these days. |

okay, negadelphians ... we're not playing the Bruins or the Red Wings here. I'm thinking the Flyers will have a hellacious 3rd period and win this puppy 4 - 2.

Well I disagree. I expect the Flyers to be able to score when there wide open in the slot. And of course, it would be an awesome goal on this board. |

True. If Voracek can't crank a shot once in a while from the slot there, what's the point.
I remember when that used to be Coburn's spot...wtf happened to that?

We can blame the goaltending and blame the players but I'm starting to feel like Laviolette is failing us as a coach. I'm not asking for him to be fired but change things up a bit. |
