No supplementary discipline according to Bob McKenzie tweet this morning. - bodiva88
As it should be. From the vid below (despite what the comments section at youtube would have you believe) it almost looks as though harts is trying to avoid the hit at the last second.
It's silly. But I will admit to enjoying the Twitter chatter about the deal last night. I was laughing out loud about Richie having the rose petals and champagne ready.
It does stink that Carter was pulled out of a fan event to be told he was traded. A chapter of his life he'll try to forget. - bodiva88
There was a lot of funny stuff floating around there last night.

Sorry if this has already been discussed but here is a exerpt from Frank's article this AM.
Now, Carter and Richards are reunited on the West Coast - a full 2,500 miles from Philadelphia - in a laid-back hockey environment that will support their well-chronicled off-ice adventures near the beach. The "Old City gang" has now become the "Manhattan Beach brew crew."
I know we all like to make a crack about Frick and Frack but to write this in the paper??? Really? - flyguy12
In Tim's article on the trade, he says:
Carter is going to score goals. And miss significant games. And get a lot of freak fracture injuries. And come up short in the playoffs. That’s his M.O.
and then states three times that Nash would have been the better choice in LA, twice utilizing the phrase "I feel" -
I posted some numbers last night after the game. Briere and Read have really struggled for points the past 20 games or so. I just looked up Voracek and JVR.
I have no clue how this team is still where it is. Well maybe half a clue. Simmonds, Hartnell and Giroux, with a dash of Jagr.
we need to send more cap money their way than read's 900k - flyerscup2011
So true. Voracek or Carle + would make sense. Only things that would make sense. Depends on what they want back (forward or D). I liked the Bob and Bernier deal mentioned before. I don't see it happening but I would like to upgrade the Goalie for the POs this year.

Yep.. Great message for the kids, eh? - tangent_man
Fantastic message. As soon as Carter learned he was traded to Columbus his primary goal was to figure a way out of there before he even put a CBJ sweater on.
