Might be the most senseless deal I've seen a GM make this year. Rewarding someone with a raise of one million dollars for the worst season imaginable for this supposed highly skilled GOAL scorer. LOL.

They have been trying to rid themselves of this cat for two years, but the asking price is ridiculous. No one caved. Everyone knows all about Hemsky. I'm sure Edmonton fans who are happy with this news, will be bringing out the pitch forks this time next year after another underachieving season, but yet would want a Sedin in return.
