How legit is this "list"?? does anybody really know? Im having a hard time believing the orange and black are not on his list, I mean cmon..he wants to be on a contender ??? then why the hell would the sharks be on there but not us? Im not lobbying for nash .it would cost too much , but cant believ were not on prefered list. - EastBeast18
These "I'll waive for these teams" lists are often changeable in a hurry. I agree that cost is too high for Nash. |

I'm sure who you'll waive to has something to do with how much a team wants you too |

Campbell is a goalie prospect. Oleksiak is a moster of a defenseman (something like 6-foot-7, 245 pounds at age 19) who is still very raw -- although drafted in first round last summer -- but whom some think has Chara-like potential if he puts it all together. Others say Oleksiak is more like a future Hal Gill. Hard to say, when a defenseman is still that young. - bmeltzer
And Oleksiak did what some of us with JVR did left college to play for the Niagara Ice Dogs of the OHL |

Well I'm off to my third game of this 3 game Canadian prairie road trip. The Winnipeg game was fantastic despite Bryz's poor performance. The Edmonton game was painful to watch. They will turn it around tonight in Calgary....4-1 Flyers! |

I would do the trade if Scott glennie was involved - griouxmvp2012
Not a huge Glennie fan. I suspect he's not going to be a top-six in NHL, despite where he was drafted. I think he could evolve into a nice 3rd line player. |

Ok that makes sense , or it would just be stupid for ek to keep mentioning us ..when in fact nash already said he would never play here. From now until 3pm monday should be pretty interesting. |

He had nice chemistry with schenn tho in jrs Not that that would mean anything now.... But you cover Dallas so I'll take your word for it |

Heres a question for my fellow flyer fanatics: If colorado approaches us about jiggy, do we consider if its not costing us roster players or high prospects? JSG career playoff stats: 33 Wins, 6 shutouts, .SAVE% .925, GAA 2.08, 3,167 mins played, and he just happened to win one of these.

He didn't play as much, but he did play very important games that year in the playoffs, and played very well. |

Was just about to post that. The second coming of Grant Fuhr is getting lit up like a pinball machine by the Yotes. - PLindbergh31
does that surprise you? deslauries did the exact same thing in their 1-0 win in 2010. got shelled for 6 in his next outing. 2predictable. |

Well i would feel alot better in a game 7 with jiggy in net over bryz. Just my feelings. I'll be honest though , i havent really kept up on how is been playing last couple years. I guess another thing would be .his salary right now ..whats that look like. Is he still getting bookoo bucks. |

if they acquired him, how does that affect bryz's fragile mental state? i doubt would be good for his confidence or his game. not saying you don't make that move becuase of that potential backlash, but it's something to consider. |

If they moved Bobrovsky for a decent return, and Colorado still wanted to move Giguere (I don't know if they have a good backup in their system to replace him or not), then maybe go for it if you could. That's a bunch of ifs though... and even then, I've kind of resigned to just sink or swim with what we have in goal the rest of the season.
If the Flyers do get to a game 7, Bryz will have to have been playing somewhat decent though. |

Looked like Gaustad may have just broken his hand in a fight with Prust.
EDIT: He is returning to the game. |

They have varlamov who i think has been playing good lately. I think tonight is 1st game in awhile for jiggy..wonder is flyers have scouts there. A far as game 7...maybe it was bob that got us to &..but got hurt. Sooo who do you want now ? jiggy or moon man? lol |

Well considering Giguere's career has pretty much nosedived since he won the cup, I'll play the card that if the team is relying on JS Giguere to win game 7s, they're already down the creek with no paddle so to speak. I was as annoyed with Bryz as anyone after the Pitt game, but they really do just have to hope he figures things out and they get great goaltending out of him to make a deep run this season.
Edit: And as has been stated numerous times on here, the rest of the team playing better is as big a part of things as Bryz is. They'll both feed on each other to get better. But the work/attention to detail has to be there the rest of the way. |

I would consider it if we had a Bob trade for something of good value to the team. Longterm value!
Anyone else here going to watch frick and frack play tonight?
