Pumped??? he prob literally got wood when he was told. LA nightlife, pornstar capital of world, can go to the beach every day to work on his tan and pick up underage girls.

Only when they score goals. They have been shutout of only scored 1 goal in their last 9 losses. Quick has saved their a$$ big time! Carter could do wonders for this team or could implode the leadership. Big gamble. I was hoping for Nash. But I totally agree...this is exciting!!!!

The Philadelphia Flyers are reportedly still talking to Columbus about the possibility of a Rick Nash trade. That being said, the Flyers and Blue Jackets talks haven't gotten serious yet. We wouldn't classify Philadelphia as the most likely destination for Nash, but they certainly have the pieces to make something happen if they decide to get him. That being said, Nash's $7.8 million annual cap hit could be particularly hard for Philadelphia to absorb in the long run. The San Jose Sharks and New York Rangers are also believed to be in the mix.

i still don't understand why the flyers would have any legitimate interest in nash.

I'd want more back. JVR is younger and Brown will be getting more money once his deal is over. Plus LA may want to trade him while I have no interest in trading JVR unless the offer is an overpay. You swap BOB + pick too for Bernier and I would be interested.

Only way I see the Flyers making this kind of move is if they have soured on JvR. They would probably have to give up more bc of salary. I really have no idea what Columbus would want back in return that can make the money work for the Flyers.

Very interesting Stoll interview. He said, "Brown is our captain and he is a really great captain"..... is there a rift in that locker room? I may be grabbing at strawls here but an odd statement when it had little to do with what was asked.

I just can't understand it. The Rangers supposedly have offered Dubinsky, Erixon, and a 1st for Nash. JVR, Bob, and a 1st is a tremendously better offer. I go back and forth, Nash would be great for this team. Yet, you can't just incorporate 7.8 million into your cap going forward. It's what kills me about the idea of getting him. He could just kill this team's ability to financially maneuver for the next 6 years.
