Talk about a quarterback on the PP, Erik Karlsson is an absolute monster. On pace for 80+ points at 21 years old. So much for d-men developing slowly.
If Matt Carle is going to make 5+ million as a UFA, this kid is going to break the bank. Light years better than Carle at 21. - PLindbergh31
Absolutely incredible talent. His toolbox is overflowing. He'll definitely need some shelf space for future Norris trophies. |

Karlsson is probably one of the best young defenseman in the league. Some players are just talented enough to progress faster. Drew Doughty was unbelieveable last year and this year seems to have struggled. Too early to think Karlsson can produce like this every single year but there is no question the kid is an absolute monster at the point. |

I think Karlsson is the real deal and will be a star for many years to come. However, it's also not uncommon for a young defenseman to take a major step backward the next year after his breakout season -- and there are still some areas of his game that need work.

in almost every type of fundamental of the position, he looks out of sorts. even when he's stopping shots, he's just blocking and not controlling the puck. couldn't tell you what's going on, but it's alarmingly bad at times. - isaiah520
He just hasnt looked right since the summer time. I dont know if he was prepared or not over the summer but he looks like a goalie who came in thinking his talent will overcome all. Bryz is a competitor and loves to win so I have no doubt that he will come back next year hungry. As much as I hate to say this, I think this year what you see is what your going to get at this point. |

He leads the NHL in assists right now. For a d-man in this NHL, that's crazy. Shades of Paul Coffey with this kid.
That 2008 draft had some fantastic D-men in it. |

No question, he's a little undersized, and his positioning in his own end needs to improve, but on the offensive side of the puck, already an amazing talent. |

If the Flyers trade JVR and Bobrovsky for a goalie - when they already have a guy signed for 8 more years - they are batpoop crazy. |

If you are going to post "rumors" please provide the link to the legitimate source it is coming from. It's bad enough "fake" stuff and peoples on "trade ideas" are posted.
If not please do not post it. |

Play him, you don't sign somebody to that deal to bail on him after 1 season. Believe it or not players do have bad years. |

Will moving Bryzgalov be easy if we pursue another goalie?
Does it even make sense to you to pursue another goalie? |

I wonder if the Flyers brass has some serious concerns over Bryzgalov. If they decide to add a goalie at any point (TDL/Summer) thats a red flag IMO. To offer Bob and JvR for a goalie would be a sign of desperation. |

Crazier things have happened. I'm not inclined to believe it, but who knows. If Bryzgalov continues to poop himself this year, and then starts the soft goal garbage in the playoffs that leads to another laughable carousel, he's going to wish he never signed in Philadelphia. I already believe he wishes that now. |

Maybe he already said he would waive his NMC

Unless they want to buy him out and have part of his salary as a cap hit for something like 16 years he is here to stay.
If the next CBA has an amnesty clause then we can explore goalie options but until then this is a moot point and what they will do with him. |

Bob AND jvr for 1 goalie??? I dont buy that . it would have to be more then just the goalie coming back. Out of that whole list pavelic intrigues me the most . Hes young and if he worked out he could stay long term. The other 2 would strictly be just for a cup run especially old ass khabby. |

Then you still run into the problem of finding a team to take the contract on while meeting whatever demands they'd have to move him.
It's just not a simple task. |

How legit is Dustin Leed, and the Fourth Period? Never heard of either. Probably just rumor mongers with no sources or credibility. |
