yeah, my hope for him starts nxt yr. anything we get positive this yr would be a bonus for me...really frustrating.
- isaiah520

I think its frustrating and disappointing all wrapped up together. As much as people complain I think most want to see Bryzgalov succeed and finally put an end to the troubles in net (which have been around what feels like forever). Most people believe his signing was going to finally be the end to that. Granted its only one year but the excitement was there for this guy to take over the city if he could just be the goalie we have been looking for. People have the right to be down on the guy (even though its early) bc they felt he would be better than advertise. I dont believe in writing off a player bc of one year but its just alittle mind boggling that he cant get his game together this season.

Ed Snider won't let the Flyers lose in the playoffs due to goalies again.

If he waives his NMC, you can waive him.
- Scottie Upshall

I don't believe so, that would mean you can just "trade him" to a team he approves.

How legit is Dustin Leed, and the Fourth Period? Never heard of either. Probably just rumor mongers with no sources or credibility.
- PLindbergh31

4th period legit enuf to have a show on XM every weekend...a known quantity not of the ilk of Mackenzie or dreger of course.

Maybe he already said he would waive his NMC
- Scottie Upshall

I think finding someone to take his contract is a far bigger challenge than having him waive his NMC. I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to be in Philadelphia based on what I have seen thus far.

I bet CLB would take him
- 2Real

If he agreed to be traded he'd probably give them a list and they probably wouldn't be on it.

Fantasy scenario: They get him to waive his NMC ..and ship him to columbus in a giant package for nash...hahaha. I could see homer and ed in the backroom casino style with the hammer ..making him sign the waiver papers.

How fast things can change. He was excited and ready for the challenge this past summer to not wanting to be here anymore.

I could be reading it wrong. Who knows. He doesn't seem to be enjoying his experience so far.

If the Flyers are looking for a goalie the only one mentioned in the article that I would be interested in is Ondrej Pavelec. He's going to be great.

You go right ahead and think he'd waive it to go to Columbus.

He's from Phoenix, I think getting Columbus to take him, would be harder then getting him to waive it to Columbus.

I doubt any player would want to end up in Columbus. Especially if that player has control of where they would end up if a trade was to happen

He's from Russia. He played in Phoenix. And yes getting him to go to Columbus would be a miracle of epic status.

If he doesnt like it here im sure he would asked to be traded. I doubt that has been the case bc he hasnt even played an entire season here yet. Do you really think the pressure is too much for him to handle?

I agree, even if Bryz was to waive his NMC, it would be very hard to find any team willing to take on his contract.

It would go against their GM staying multiple times he will make a trade as long as it doesn't hurt the long term success of the club. That would hurt their long term success plan.
