Why would Winnipeg want to trade him? - PLindbergh31
I doubt Winnipeg would but if you offer up Bobrovsky and JVR as the article suggested I don't think Winnipeg would say no. |

I agree, even if Bryz was to waive his NMC, it would be very hard to find any team willing to take on his contract. - FreshFlyer
Let's face it he has to play better we know that, but they also have to play better if their own zone. If they can do those you'd probably see them have an amazing level of confidence. |

If he doesnt like it here im sure he would asked to be traded. I doubt that has been the case bc he hasnt even played an entire season here yet. Do you really think the pressure is too much for him to handle? - stveshdy
I think the remainder of the season and playoffs are important obviously. Based on the expectations, if there is no improvement, it's going to be mighty uncomfortable for him next year. I still give him all of next year at least. |

I'm hoping those shootout saves last night really helped him with his confidence. He didn't start out well but the fact that he battled hard and stayed in there and got the win really says a lot. |

He's from Russia. He played in Phoenix. And yes getting him to go to Columbus would be a miracle of epic status. - ob18

It would go against their GM staying multiple times he will make a trade as long as it doesn't hurt the long term success of the club. That would hurt their long term success plan. - ob18
He's an RFA after this year, he's due a big bump, I would think based on his play Winnipeg would definitely get him signed long term. |

Even when the Flyers play well defensively you cant continue to give up "soft" goals. Im a big supporter of Bryz but he is not living up to expectations. The defense is going to have breakdowns and a top tier goalie like Bryz is suppose to be there to shut the door more often than not. When the Flyers hang him out to dry its obviously not his fault but when your giving up goals on basic shots, then I worry. |

If they don't it would be a huge mistake. Pavelec is going to end up being one of he best in the league IMO |

The fact Bryzgalov has been this bad, and these rumors are surfacing is absolutely mind boggling. |

Yup, you don't just move him especially now, the market is better later. But I'd think they want him long term. |

It has, but for some reason I think this may be the turning point for Bryz. His team-mates battled hard for him last night and I'm betting he wants do the same for them. Hopefully he gets it back on track in the next few games |

True but I look at it like this some of those goals should have never even had a shot if the team plays well in front of him.
Yes he does need to stop them not saying he doesn't but the play in front of him should be playing better to limit what pucks he even sees. Look at the team defense the Bruins & Rangers play (yes better goalie play) but look at how good they play in from of them to limit what they even see. |

Yes and look what happened with that. Columbus is looking to clear out salary and get back picks and prospects. They aren't looking for goaltender's with 5 million dollar cap hits and 8 years remaining on their deals. |

The reason Boston and NYR play so well on defense is because they believe in each other. They dont have to worry about making a mistake bc they know their goalie is going to make the save more times than not. The Flyers on the other hand are playing like a team that has to worry about everything they do bc if a mistake happens it ends up in the back of the net. IMO the Flyers are pressing and trying to do to much and thats when mistakes happen. They play without confidence at times and some of that has to do with the goaltending. How many more games are they going to play from behind? You cant win that way and in the playoffs the good teams tighten up even more. |
