Add grossman to that list. We got him with one of the picks LA or CB gave us in trades. Dont remember what team exactly.

I watched Simmonds a lot last season. Solid role player. Nobody saw this season coming. Not you, not me, not even him.

As mentioned earlier, it would be a media circus and I'm not sure how the team would be able to focus. You bring in another #1 goalie, Bryz has to be moved out. Easier said then done, ride Bryz for the rest of the year. See how he does in the playoffs and go from there.

This is Philly theres always drama. By the end of the playoffs Bryz may be selling Crab Fries in the Wells Fargo Center.

What???? miller would be adored in this town. American, olympian, heart on sleeve guy..no off ice problems, team guy...do i have to go on?
- EastBeast18

First soft goal and the WIP brigade starts ripping him like they are with Bryz now, and Miller will by crying himself to sleep every night. His cap hit is very high, and he's struggled this year (although not nearly as badly as Bryz has). I think the minute he struggled even a little here, he'd be crushed. He cares too much.

You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so injured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it. ~ Morpheus

If the combination of Boosh/Leighton can get the team to Game 6 OT of the cup finals, I'll take my chances with Bryz. Even though Pronger is missing, I believe this d-core is just about as good because that team only played 4 d-men.

If I recall Pronger was out, 42 yr old O'Donnell was in and I'm not even sure who was the 6 d-man. Look, if you want someone else in besides Bryz, I get it. I don't and I'll take my chances with this d-core with him.

I want Bryz in net. I love Bryz. Im just saying this teams chances of winning a cup is very slim at this time. Unless a miracle happens I dont see how this team beats NYR, Pitts or Boston in a seven game series.

I don't disagree with you, but Boston has played a lot of hockey since last year. I'll be interested to see how much they have left in the gas tank come playoff time. The Rangers are definitely tough, Lundquist has been great, they will be a tough out.

he was off to a great start, and hasn't been the same since his concussion (or his teammates for that matter).

The goalie to get is Nabokov bc of his cap hit. The Flyers would have to give up a player and maybe a pick but I think he is a player that can be had "IF" the Flyers truely believe they need a goalie.
- stveshdy

The goalie to get is Bryzgalov. Half-assed attempts at a short term fix could seriously back fire. Want to add a solid veteran back-up? Fine. Giguere and Bryz are old teammates, and might have a comfort level.

Bringing in somebody to challenge now...and paying a premium for it...just seems to be throwing good money and assets after bad.

I said that being the reports that the Flyers are looking for a number one goalie. I dont even think they should be looking for one in general.

Yeah, I agree there...wasn't trying to jump on it harshly.
