yup just like how kovalchuk was retardedly overrated? he's doing great last time i checked
his cap hit isn't rediculous esp if the cap goes up
i guess getting shut out 2-0 against edmonton and having to put up 4-5 goals a game to win isn't an issue - 2Real
At one point was Kovalchuk considered "over-rated"? The two aren't even comparable.
What the (frank) are you even trying to say? What does getting shut-out 2-0 have to do with winning 5-4 in a shootout?
The bolded statement is exactly whats WRONG with this team. The fact that we have to score so many goals a game most nights in order to win means that to many are going in on our own net. How does adding Nash help that?
And in absolutely NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM is Nash worth 7.8 million dollars. Want a fun fact? For 800k more, you could have Crosby or Malkin.
We don't need Rick (frank)ing Nash. |

Rick Nash has only scored more than 70 points in a season only once in his career. |

That was a hard nosed period by both the Devils and Rangers. Are the Flyers ready to start playing this type of hockey down the stretch? I need to start seeing it. |

ruining the NHL one thing at a time.
NHL deadline back in the day was actually worth paying attention to.

The Flyers are tied for highest scoring team in the league. Nash is not a fit for their NEEDS. [annoyed description of fanboy redacted] |

Dont you know? That's how the NHL works. Do it once, and you can get paid a million bucks a season for every 10 points you score(d). |

they both score goals so they can be compared
we're stuck with a poop goalie and we will need all the offense we can get to win
Bryzgalov is NOT leaving so we have to out gun the other teams to win
nash helps by bumping our average goals a game up
Crosby and Malkin both took major discounts to stay in pittsburgh do you can't compare
and show me where crosby and malkin are being shopped?

if nash is skating circles around the other team with the puck then we don't need to worry about bryzgalov giving up a crap goal |

How can you not like what the Sabres did today for their team? Also I'm happy the Flyers stood pat today and that JVR is still in orange and black - Just5
Well, they got a lot smaller, and they were already small to begin with. They lost Gaustad and Kassian, who were pretty much the biggest forwards on the team. Hodgson is listed at 6 feet tall, but looks shorter than that to me. Three of their top 9 forwards are listed as 5' 9" or shorter (Roy, Gerbe, Ennis).
Not the end of the world or anything, but they may have just wrested the smurf title from the Habs. |

Marcus Foligno. 6'3. Pushing 220-230 if I'm not mistaken. Likely a full-timer next year for them.
Then theres, of course, their d-core. The smallest off the top of my head has to be Leopold.
They have the size. |
