I didnt see the game, just the highlights. What happened? From what i read it was a clean hit that Malone jumped him for later near the two benches? - shinebox
1. Malone hits Emelin in back of the net against the boards. Some refs may have called Boarding (2 mins.) but nothing was called.
2. Emelin didn't like it so he hits Malone at the blueline during the next shift, leading to an interference penalty. Malone and Brewer go after Emelin but nothing comes of it.
3. Emelin out of the box is going for a line change and gets "jumped by Malone".
4. Malone gets a 2, 5 and a game. Staubitz gets a 2 and a 10 for grabbing Malone on the bench. |

The puck was 267.3 feet away from Malone when Emelin hit him. And then MAlone tried to be a stand up guy and fight Emelin who went into a turle. Pk came off the bench and gave Stamkos the people's elbow. A ladder match between Cunnyworth and Boucher ensued and the lazer beams from Boucher's eyes via the death stare created a black hole and swallowed the entire North American continent and we are all dead now.

It was clear interference. Puck wasn't anywhere close to Malone when Emelin hit him. Malone conveniently forgot about pasting Emelin face-first into the glass, however. - 3M
