I honestly don't know. I would not be surprised to see Gallagher start the year with the Habs next season barring injuries or big acquisitions.

Bournival has NHL speed and is already built for it. He can play on a 4th line.

Gallagher has to play in an offensive role IMO. Has to play on an offensively minded 3rd line at least, and that would be with bigger players. He also has to improve his speed, which has gotten better since the 2009 draft, but still needs improvement IMO.

That's not how it works in Montreal. Young players who want to play for the team must spend at least half the season travelling between Montreal and Hamilton.
- jugkope

Not the same unless the habs (frank) with a young players confidence huh?

Me neither if he has a strong training camp besides who else is making it as a forward? Kristo maybe? Id rather see Gallagher spend a full year in Hamilton on the top line rather then in Montreal on the bottom 6 or the press box.
- shinebox

Of course. Kristo will be in HAM for sure. Might get a call-up here and there, but he'll spend most of his time there. Same with Beaulieu and Tinordi unless one of them makes the Habs at camp.

Gallagher can go either way, but with a stronger chance than most to make the Habs.

You and i both know the real reason, and you can forget about your theory.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that concession the players are going to give the owners in order to fix their mistakes.

I understand, but a more apt comparison would be guys from their draft years and their development. Instead of 18 year old guys against 22 and 24 year old guys.

How often do you hear about Girgensons compared to Faksa?

You think he took that Calgary job because he expected success? Going down as the GM that has to and is going to trade Iginla will make him real popular.
