Don't think it's because they didn't want to. |

I liked Rolston his first time around in Boston, this time not so much, and Mottau well he sucks. It didn't cost us anything (a couple ECHL'ers) for these guys but damn. Zanon is a decent stay at home type shot blocker so he may work out, I dunno, we gave up Kampfer for him who didn't seem to be progressing much. We had some cap available I would have like to have seen it put to better use but the market was pretty thin, and most of the names I had heard mentioned attached to the Bruins were either re-signed or taken off the market, what are ya gonna do. |

Oilers won last night, one step closer to Grigorenko or Yakupov... |

Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
I missed Burke presser, but can tell you Tor could have traded Schenn,Kulemin,MacArthur and Grabovski for 1st round picks. #tradecentre
PG isnt the dumbest on deadline day.......
the last 3 would have been gone from my roster before the other GM even finished saying round |

4 1sts. And any team dumb enough to offer a 1st for MacArther is probably out in the first round at worst so its 4 in the 10-20 range... |

How can Eklund put the Sabres in the winner category? - Pecafan Fan
From the main thread:
Buffalo fans that dont know what they are talking about talk about being to "small and soft".
Buffalo has players in defenseman Brayden Mcnabb (6'5" 200lb 21 year old) who will be a dman to pair with Myers for years to come and he can toss em, he can score , Mcnabb is the real deal and he will be on the Sabres roster full time nest season.
Marcus Foligno (6'1" 205 lb 20 year old left winger) has a ton of grit and will be on the Sabres roster next season as well .
Cory Tropp only (5'11"190 lb 22 year old right winger) that plays much bigger than that and is the meaning of the word "grit" !
And this is not to say with the plethora and wealth of 1st and 2nd round picks combined with roster players like Roy/Leopold/Sekera that we cant even get bigger yet come free agency and my guess is we will.
I know you are not a Sabres fan so you probably dont know these things but some fans are just so narrow minded and can not look beyond today.
The Sabres by far got better with Cody Hodgson for today and the future.
#1 and #2 centers like CoHo do not grow on trees.
Welcome to Buffalo CoHo and hope fully a Cup in the near future!
I will say once again, I can surely see the "3 year plan" coming together!
The Sabres and Darcy won "deadline day" which I would bet is driving B.Burke out of his fricking mind.

A repeat of last years final wouldn't be shocking. |

All those 1sts were offered to Burke by the GM who didn't know Cammi was available. |
