I liked Rolston his first time around in Boston, this time not so much, and Mottau well he sucks. It didn't cost us anything (a couple ECHL'ers) for these guys but damn. Zanon is a decent stay at home type shot blocker so he may work out, I dunno, we gave up Kampfer for him who didn't seem to be progressing much. We had some cap available I would have like to have seen it put to better use but the market was pretty thin, and most of the names I had heard mentioned attached to the Bruins were either re-signed or taken off the market, what are ya gonna do. - Rayven
Did you see what some of these rentals cost? Chiarelli said he had another deal that was close(Probably David Jones) but it never happened. I'm glad he didn't deal off our first or Caron, or Hamilton. |

How can Eklund put the Sabres in the winner category? - Pecafan Fan
Everyone knows Cody Hodgson and his 2/3 a season of pro experience are the reason why the Canucks are #1 in the NHL right now. |

A repeat of last years final wouldn't be shocking. - habby
Going to be a tough sell with Horton drooling all over himself. I understand the Bruins won 4 of 5 in the finals after he went down but to even get that far....he was a major reason why.
That being said, playoffs are a differenct game...you're not playing a different team every night, you can get some good matchups on the go and grind out the other guys. If Timmy gets hot then they have a punches chance. |

I agree, but at the same time, I hope we don't have to count on these "depth" guys for much. Zanon might be a good fill in for Boychuck if he's not back on his feet quickly. |

watching Gauthier-Gainey-Cunneyworth doing press conferences I can understand why this team is uninspired and doesn't have any drive. |

Zanon is one of the better shot blockers in the game. And honestly an aids infested corpse is better then what Kampfer or Corvo can bring. Rolston is a stop gap on the PK until Peverley comes back and then he can compete with Poop for a small chuck of third line duties....Not sure what Chairelli likes about Mottau but he seems to get hard for off beat players sometimes....not expected anything there personally. |

Exactly, that's what I'm afraid of...seeing the same people in management still making the decisions during the summer. |

Which we all want. But tell me, who's to say the next one won't be just as bad, or worse? I mean, the same guy that hired this knucklehead, will hire the next one. |
