I guess GM's didn't think Darcy was crazy or hard to work with today. - SABRES 89
Not sure Regier makes these deals, if Pegula/Black aren't around the room?
This pushed him over the edge, to grow a pair and make the deals!
That's the effect Pegula has!! |

Reposted from last night...just wanted to thank Darcy from coming out aqnd drinking with me!!!!.... Brad May @maydayhockey
#scoop I'm hearing that Paul Gaustad will cost a first round pick if traded! and is looking for a 5-6 year deal at 3 mill
C.B. @NHLSourcesSay
Teams trying to pry quality out of BUF, as reported here earlier this week, the Wings have interest in Roy, Pominville and Stafford...today teams are focusing on d-man Jordan Leopold, we could see a few moves out of Buffalo. - LizzyJo
You have to look at who has the 1 st picks. Colorado, Detroit and LA do not.
Vancouver, Nashville, Chicago, SJ and |St Louis do.
These teams will play keep away on Gaustad and Roy.....Dallas might give us Ott for Gaustad, just so that no one else gets him.....I would do that ands then re-sign Gaustad July 1.
Offers for Goose should look like:
Vancouver: Hodgson and a prospect/2nd round pick for Goose
Nashville: 1st pick...although they want Roy and/or Vanek more
St. Louis: Berglund
SJ: 2 picks
Chicago: McNeil and a pick
None of these help us immediately to continue with the playoffs |

Would have to be strong Bs on potential.
Kass was crap in NHL12. - nfph
I will admit I have put Kassian on my 2nd and 3rd lines and hadn't had much success with him yet. Kass was only like a 74 in the game. |

I really like what you guys did today. Hard to quantify as I am an outsider but I'd say today goes far in healing the wounds of the overpriced UFA summer you guys had. |

Holy freaking wow, how in the hell did he get a 1st Round pick for a slow, not all that tough power forward, I think offered a 1st Round draft pick even if he is a Center you just need to say ok, we cannot turn that down.
Do you guys see us packing 2 1st round picks for someone ?? Given the supposed not that greatness of the draft ?
Plays out 2 ways, Gaustad excels and becomes a better player or he regresses because of a different environment and well he just ain't that good. - MikeyOz
this is exactly what I said about a week ago. Definitely see us packaging 2 1sts and a 2nd paired with a prospect to make a splash at the draft |

Hodgson in 3 less minutes per game has twice the point production of Gaustad this season. Love this deal. |

@Ducks on Wednesday, @Sharks on Thursday, then @Canucks on Saturday.
This is gonna be an interesting week.
Does anyone really think that Gaustad is gonna just love playing hockey in Nashville? Half the people in Tennessee don't even know they have a hockey team. |

Man I hope you are right.
I see positives in Hodge in the points on the 3rd line.
But His size is like Roy Version 2.0.
he is only signed until the end of next year and then could ask for like 3M per year.
And we are STILL STUCK with Boyes. - JVince117
I will say this, Hodgson has been treated... let's say inconsistently by Vancouver. I would definitely have Pegs roll out the red carpet for this kid, could go a long way. |

Anyone have any opinion as to the purpose of Grags for Sulzer? I'm not seeing it. They both sit behind McNabb. |
