now if only we can go 8-12 the last 20, end up with a top 7 pick and grab Galchenyuk!!!!!!!! - buffalokb
I sure like having that extra 1st from trading goose to move up a few spots if we have to...
Galchenyuk will go between 5-7 most likely |

Anyone have any opinion as to the purpose of Grags for Sulzer? I'm not seeing it. They both sit behind McNabb. - TheSabresTaco
Depth. Nothing more. Nothing less. |

Darcy have a presser yet about the deals? |
|
|
|
I will say this, Hodgson has been treated... let's say inconsistently by Vancouver. I would definitely have Pegs roll out the red carpet for this kid, could go a long way. - nfph
Hopefully we as fans and the ownership don't mount pressure on this kid right away. We always do that, especially if they get their first goal early on. The pressure can be a biatch. THen again he's coming from a place that rioted like all hell because they lost. |

My take: Hodgson was the best player in that deal, Grags/Sulzer was an evener swap of less consequential pieces. Grags becomes a reserve dman for Vancouver and Sulz will likely never see the light of day in Buffalo. |

yea I guess I can deal with that for next year.
I think if we get Galy in the draft that we actually will have too many capable centers. |

I get that we need a center but this is not the type of move I am happy with. I am hoping I will be wrong but Cody didn't sound too happy to be in Buffalo.
I thought Zack Kassian was the type of player that would have changed the make of the Buffalo Sabres. We had enough skill - we lack heart and grit |

The Hodgson trade makes us a lot less desperate at the draft, IMO. He still might be the best player to take. |

Bulldog really is thick. He is prattling on about how Hodgson won't outrank Ennis when he gets here. Ennis has been a center for what? 3 weeks? If they don't put him on the 2nd line at least then they are fools. |

He does, but I'd say the ceiling for him is MA Bergeron, and that's a long shot. We got rid of one of my least favorite Sabres today with this trade. |

He's a 22-year-old kid that just found out his life was totally changing. Give him a few days. He's from Toronto so he is basically coming home. He will be fine. |
