Adam was in my mind as a scratch guy because there just isn't any room on the roster for ANOTHER center. Tropp is gritty so he needs to be on the 4th with McMuscle and Kaleta.

I wonder if Regier was trying to trade Adam instead of Kassian in that deal.

Assuming Sulzer gets waived to send him to the minors, we open up a bit of cap space for the summer. Not much. Grags would probably get a 200k boost. But still, we should have traded him for a pick. Would be better than a defenseman we won't sign back.

Stafford doesnt compare - if Stafford gave half the effort Ellis gave he'd be a 40 goal scorer.

In the minors he was a man amongst boys. He just manhandled people and was gritty as heck. He could be the next Lucic or Bertuzzi type player.

In the NHL he hadn't found his niche yet. He wasn't playing as aggressive as he should have been or not as aggressive as Buffalo wanted him to be.

Very strong on the boards and underrated set of wheels. Had a heavy beard at 14 years. Can throw them extremely well and is a borderline reckless hitter. Wasn't showing any of the last two comments for us this year.

Could be Bert 2.0, could be Brad May 2.0. Time will tell.
