Foligno and Adam will both benefit from playing in the AHL for the rest of the year and continue their development. No need to rush them to make a run at 8th place - mccrisp
No offense, I said "if they tank." Why not bring them up if we're out of the playoff hunt? Play them the last 15 games for experience and let them show they're hungry. Certainly wouldn't care if they had to waive Boyes, Ellis, and/or Weber to do so.
Noooooooo
Galchenyuk will be a better scorer/point producer than Getzlaf
Him + Hodgson + Ennis and we have our 3 quality centers for the next decade - jdfitz77
Take Galchenyuk 1st
Roy, pysyk, 1st(nsh), Sekera -> Shea Weber
Adam, Leopold, 2nd -> Dustin Brown
I think that's enough for those 2
Somehow dump leino
Getting weber & brown entices Parise to come here
Parise-Hodgson-Stafford
Vanek-Ennis-Pominville
Armia-Galchenyuk-Brown
Gerbe-McCormick-Kaleta
Tropp
Foligno
Switch the lines up... Add Foligno & Tropp and subtract Armia & Galchenyuk if not ready yet... But I think u all get the point
Our defense would also be sick
Ehrhoff-S.Weber
Regehr-Myers
McNabb-M.weber
Brennan
Schiestel
Um, that would be sick
It does work $$$$-wise if the cap goes up a few mil
But it's prob crazy to think all that could happen - jdfitz77

he was also a point per game in the playoffs last year, which may have possibly killed his future here because we expected too much from him too soon. That being said, I have no idea how he was a plus player here and he made some incredibly dumb mistakes (look at Giroux's OT winner here a few months back).

Prediction: Hodgson scores 6 goals in first 5 games-
Then disappears ala: Bernier & Boyes

Boyes was in serious decline when we picked him up, but we loved the aggresivness the new ownership had shown. He came to us with about 40 points (I think). But this kid is no Brad Boyes, no Danius Zubrus, no Dom Moore. Consider him to be a bigger, possibly more talented Enzo. Love it.
Don't know if anyone has brought this up but at draft time 2008, Hodgson was projected to be the next Drury. Wanted him then, wanted him last night....We got him today.
Here's to Hodgson being the next Drury
Ennis being the next Briere
and for us being able to trade up to get Galchenyuk
and for us maybe having 3 centers we all like next season who combine to make around 7 mil. Number one paid center who? Maybe trade Roy and go after Parise in off-season.... the posssibilities are endlist.

Agree on all
Although Hodgson is def years away from becoming drury
Your point that we will be strong up the middle and for little $$$ does give us all kinds of options to add toughness both up front and on defense

How about that draft? Stamkos, Doughty, Myers, Erik Karlsson, Eberle.
