4 picks in probably the top 50 for Buffalo this June. Even if they don't trade any, given Darcy's recent track record in the draft, I'm optimistic.

Myers, Ennis, Adam, Kassian, Foligno, McNabb, Pysyk, Gauthier-Leduc, Armia, Sundher, Cantenacci.

I could care less if Roy was centering the 4th line. I'd put Hodgson between Vanek and Pominville. I hate Roy on that line. I also think putting Hodgson with 42 and 36 would work because he might get some offense out of those two.

I feel better with what he did . The move of goose was expected and we all (well most) thought we could be traded for a 1st rounder. And then getting a decent center for kassion is a surprise.

The sabres have drafted better than just about everyone else in the league since just b4 the lockout

Hodgson in 3 less minutes per game has twice the point production of Gaustad this season. Love this deal.

I'm going to reserve judgment, the same way I do on the day of the NFL Draft. I like the thought process. It's interesting, and unexpected (which is always fun), but when the guy hasn't played a game yet.

Best case scenario, both guys turn out as well as they are supposed to. Vancouver wanted/needed to get bigger. Buffalo needed guys up the middle, badly. This could work for both teams.

I'd love Parise but I think you have to move Vanek or Pominville, which I wouldn't mind, to do it.
