No 3rd liner is worth a 1st round pick, ever, especially one that belongs on the 4th line. If Nashville wants to waste a 1st on him, have at it.

That line shuts down the other teams best forward line not to mention Goose is one of the best faceoff men in the league as well part of theheart and sole of your team.Agree to dissagree and dont get hung up on his line number.

Great on the PK and faceoffs. Fights sometimes. Hits hard sometimes. Chips in about 10 goals a year. Great for the 3rd/4th line.

I can't comment on what Regier will do with th pick. But look at some of the names that have been picked in the 20-30 draft spot. There can be gold there.

My understanding is that Goose wanted $3M for 3+yrs.
We likely would have lost him anyway.
Again, not crazy about it.
