VAN fans, I know Hodgson is going to be good, but you've got your first two center lines lined up with Sedin and Kesler. You get a young, gritty and tough SOB who will get you those dirty goals and step up to protect his teammates when needed

Alex sulzer....a German player...has not done much in NHL, but is 27 years old and known to Erhoff and Hecht. This is a good 7th defenseman.

I know man, I hear ya. I HATE to lose Coho, I wouldn't sleep on Kassian for this year yet. It's a numbers game. Still in shock though. So is Cody, judging by his interview. Poor guy is getting grilled on TSN and he sounds straight stunned

It's really tough to see Kassian go. Loved how he played in Junior but he wasn't a wildman in the NHL. Looked kind of timid at times playing against men rather than 16 y/o kids. He's still got a ton of time to develop though. I think this trade will be a push for both teams in the end.

Foligno may have made Kassian more available for the sabres
