Couturier
Skinner
Ryan Johansen
Nino Niederreiter
Cam Fowler.

All players off the top of my head, that did not go # 1 that are all playing for the big club adn did so right away.

It is no loner the NHL of the 1st rd pick wont play for 3 years. It is the league of young guys now.

I think Hodgson wore #9 with the Canucks. I say the team lets him decide if he wants to wear #9 here as well

They'll give him some lame number. Poor McNabb wears 81 when he plays here. That just seems out of place. Especially on a D man.

but ur counting on instant BIG rewards. All i'm saying is, don't cash those High Expectation checks on a 18/19 y/o!!! i can hears people complaining if he doesn't score 25g's

still appalled at today. 2:30 i'm thinking its the end of darcy and he will be gone and we will get something new in here

3:30 comes and im just in awe at this deal.. the kassian hype died FAST and then he got traded for a calder candidate center whos 3rd on our team in goals

unreal..

Props darcy.

Just watched Darcy's interview on Buffalo News, the picks we have now are big, I was wrong. Watched Bucky's interview also, he's still a dumbass.

I never said anything about big rewards. I simply put him on line 3. Never said i expected the world.

You could go another route trade for Stastny and if Gal gets taken, take the best winger which will most likely be Foresberg.

My original point was we have a lot of options going into this offseason.

Nose for the net and a good shot. Like his positioning in the slot there too.

when drury and briere were let go, i was almost on board with bucky but he kept it up and that was the day i lost respect for him ( i didn't have much to begin with). he was just embarrassing that day. of course darcy was upset as anybody and he took it, and bucky just acted like a spoiled brat. his columns are so ridiculous, at least jerry sullivan is intelligent and acknowledges he's just a bitter man with some thoughts.

i'm so excited for this draft! we have so many options going forward! my top choices are Galchenyuk or parise in blue and gold, and hell, with the moves at free agency and today, i'm thinking it's at least potentially possible, and at the very last not entirely improbable.
