I cant see Detroit with out Lidstrom... it just doesnt compute - jak521
Detroit is going to have plenty of money and they will need a true #1 defenseman to take over after Lidstrom leaves. Obviously no one can replace Lidstrom but Suter is the best player available to fill his spot, so I expect Detroit to throw the kitchen sink at signing him. |

Well, now there is no question. Any who, does that thought scare any of you like it does me. 2 rounds of 7 games against 2 very familiar teams only to have to probably face the Rangers. Yikes. |

Bryzgalov will outplay Lundqvist when it counts the most, playoff time. |

I want to believe you. I think the King is a big step above Bryz. I really like Bryz. But I have a hard time believing in that. Now, could our team outplay their team and win. Oh yeah, no doubt. |

His team makes it really easy for him. The rags keep a majority of their opponents opportunities to the perimeter. The flyers have a knack for letting the opposition skate right through their zone to pick their shots at ease. I see that trend coming to an end with Kubina and Grossman in the mix but the forwards need to step it up and Bryz needs to just be perfect on the routine stuff.
Also the Rags have like one line that is a threat. Shutdown their top line and the rest are quite pedestrian. I don't think they are that scary. How many times have the Flyers overcome superior goaltending? More times than you or I can count besides they aren't going to continue winning this many games consecutively against the flyers. |

When playing the Rags you have to be patient. They play so well defensively and wait for you to make a mistake and then counter on it. The closer the game (in the playoffs) the more the pressure will build for the Rags. |

At least we hope not. However, those are some good points. I hope the D can tighten it up a bit. Bryz seems to be getting himself right, and that is a very good sign. The forwards need to back check better a little more. No more lazy Jagr back checking penalties. |

She is a beauty but I wouldn't leave her open to criticism on this forum just in case someone accidentally says something they shouldn't about her. I kinda figured this sort of thinking would be obvious. |
