That was so long ago my teenage children don't even remember. My team has no expectations and had none at the start. Experts like yourself told us we were the worst team in the league, and with you being so smart and all, who were we to question it?

Playoffs? A bonus and great learning in year one of our re-build. But no, keep on supporting your infallible management, buy the tickets, but I have a feeling many Leaf fans are not exactly right with you.

I remember those days, but I mean it was Gilmour who was the elite player as far as i'm concerned. Andreychuk was more of a benefactor. Not dissing the guy, just don't consider him elite. Same thing for Roberts, he scored 50 as a Flame if i'm not mistaken but I wouldn't call him elite. Macinnis and Niewendyk were the elite guys there, maybe Fleury later on.

Don't forget, I'm the one suggesting the Sedins aren't necessarily elite players.
