2 first goals not really Reimers fault...team had a horrid start. Team scored to bring it to 2-1 and then 30 seconds later Reimer let in a shot that should have been saved, both defensive mistake and his. Overall?: Bad team effort.

Seems like I'm disagreeing with you a lot but not out to get you by any means, just shinging some light on other areas or views. Parise for 1 does not answer our problems. Would love to get him, but Lupul has that position wrapped up nicely. Colborne has potential, but you're right he's far away and most likely a 2C. So for acquiring a 1C, well Bozak is doing fine for now. I would rather be patient and draft Galchenyuk then sell the farm for one.

The team/core hes created is still fresh and young and are a little time away from being competitve. Yes we are missing a legit goalie, a legit first line center and a few grinders to be competitive...but again, we are another 2 years away from being there anyways and it dosnt happen overnight. Hes developed a core, now that core needs to mature and then you start bringing in the final pieces.

No need of bringing those bigger pieces now and sell away the future, when youre not ready anyways.

schenn is simply not built for the kind of defense wilson is trying to run.. if they went to a zone coverage schenn would be fine.. and he needs to back off the hitting a little.. too often it puts him out of position.

reimer is big.. but his glove hand is weak.. watch shooters.. 90% of the time they target is glove side.. and try to get him moving side to side.. the book is out on that kid, if he doesnt improve that aspect of his game his nhl career will be short lived.

moving Schenn, Kule, Mac and Grabo for picks was not a good idea. There is no guarantee the picks he gets actually replaces the players if not improves the team down the road.

he moves all those guys now, and is forced to bring up the youth who are succeeding and developing on a winning team with the Marlies...and you want to bring them into a losing environment and set the team back even further?
