Haven't seen anything on him or supplemental discipline of Vlasic. Also, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area says the Sharks would like NHL to take a look at Rinaldo's hit on Galiardi - Jsaquella
Rinaldo will get suspended, and Vlasic will get away with boarding Briere. - PLindbergh31

Unreal. Usually Shanahan considers injury in making a ruling on a suspension. Briere isn't out of the woods yet. Have to figure there is a chance he develops symptoms from that. He went head first into the boards. He could have broken his neck.

I could have seen suspensions or at least fines for both, given the current state of the NHL trying to reduce head injuries.

the hit on briere should have been a major and a 1 game minimum. the league is a (frank)ing joke.

Briere most certainly stopped right in front of him, but there was no reason for the full arm extended push.

That was the first thing I was worried about.. you can break your neck and have no really symptoms.. He went into those boards in an extremely awkward position.
In 6th Spot the Flyers would play the Jets or Florida in the first round of the playoffs. Think about it, I am happy in this spot. - Scottie Upshall
This has been a common thought on here and I would like to address it.
I am more concerned with the Flyers playing their A game going into the POs then who they are playing against. Yes 6th would be better then say 5th or 4th with the current standings. But if they aren't playing well, it won't matter. The switch is turned now or not at all.
