I never understood that either. How about Andy Macdonald or Teemu Selanne? Big strong power forwards. - weirdoh
don't be silly weirdoh ....BB has constructed a truculent bottom 6 that includes Connolly, Lombardi, Steckel, Crabb and Colby Notstrong. I'm intimidated just typing their names.

Well I just read the article in the Toronto sun about Burke missing his chance on firing Burke and according to that idiot the Leafs Magic number is 5 losses. thats all they can lose between now and April 7th.
So in other words by the end of next weekend is over we could be out of the playoff hunt.
Montreal Loss Boston Loss Pittsburgh Loss Philly Loss Washington Loss - Leafsfan9329
so basically 5 more losses gets wilson canned? so miss the playoffs basically.

No Gerber this year! In past years they were 'out' early and could play loose. This year they look defeated ...and their g'tending b'lows right now. - The Law
i say just play without a goalie and ensure the losses lol

that was the series where Pat Quinn knocked out Orr with a intentional elbow...... in todays game, he would have received a 10 game misconduct for sure
How did Orr react?........ next game he pummeled Quinn

Fighting won't be removed from Hockey. Its not like fights happen every game now. There is no reason for them to make a rule that there is no fighting. Bettman said that last week on his NHL Hour that is shown on the NHL Network.
I'll watch the 80's and 90's games from time to time on the NHL network. That hockey was so much better than this poop we got after the lock out. - weirdoh
Its funny watching those games and seeing half the ads missing like on the ice and around the boards. Especially in the games in the 80s.

if it starts in the development leagues then in a generation no one will fight because no one will have been taught or allowed to when they are young.
doesnt matter what the NHL does if all the development leagues no longer produce guys who fight

Can you imagine a player who could outshoot, outskate, playmake, play extraordinary defense, take chucks off the penalty-kills by ragging the puck, stickhand, score ect ect ect...and kick the snot out of a pretty tough (God rest his soul) Keith Magnuson
