Burke has burned so many bridges with other GMs through borderline (and not so borderline) Tampering, calling out others (Kevin Lowe is on Line 1) and just had such a history of attemopting to make himself look good at the expense of others that I would not be surprised if Gillis just teased him along.

Was it not Burke who, while under investigation for tampering last season, sadi that he greeted every opposing GM as they visited ACC in an attempt to shame Gillis? How did that go? Was it under or over a week before Burke was seen as a lier once again. I'll go with the over but just....
