yea, sometimes nerve blocks are effective. there's no one prognosis for an HNP, but kimmo being older and it likely being a degenerative process doesn't make me optimistic.

Knowing Timonen, he will play if he can. And play well. He's 36. Things like this are bound to happen.

Guess I missed where Drs Killdare and Phil came out and confirmed it was a disk injury.

They're rehydrating and lying in wait for their next opportunity.

It was Dr Eskin speculating.
I will stop guessing and hope for the best.
The comment that he has a "herniated disc" and "back in two weeks"
just seemed not right.

But it's all speculation.

I'm very happy to have Grossman and Kubina either way.
Homer looks great right now with these additions.

Absolutely. Those additions were needed before the injuries, now they are absolutely vital.

As for the injuries, what they actually are and the return of either player, I'm not going to worry too much. I'm sure as soon as they possibly can return, both guys will. I do trust Eskin with the injuries, too, since the Flyers and Eagles share doctors, and he has a good rapport with them. If he's saying a couple weeks, it likely is true.

thank goodness he picked up those two

i'm especially digging grossman, but the fact that kubina shed his first blood for the flyers makes me feel like he's really part of the team now
