The trade the Flyers made with Washington for winger Matt Ford might be a good one. He's really lighting it up in Adirondack, I believe he has 8 goals in his last 10 games. I have read he is very responsible defensively and a solid PK guy.

Maybe he gets a chance at some point this year.

Sestito tweeted today that he still can't walk. So I'm guessing not any time soon.

Or simply make improvements.

Even if Suter is hypothetically only a little bit better than Carle, and will cost more wouldnt it make more sense sign him and let Carle walk?

Or lets just sit and wait and hope that miracle d-man comes along late in the draft or somehow flies under the radar in FA and isn't overpaid.
