Or its 4 road games in 6 nights. And we won three of them, something your team cant and wont do. Most of the rest of the Jets games are on the road. The Leafs will make the playoffs before the Jets do. The only difference between the Jets and the Atlanta thrashers is the Jets building is much smaller, so they get to call them "sell outs" for getting Columbus attendance #'s. - Buffalo--Sabres
i know you didnt exactly bring it up, but using the "west coast travel" excuse doesnt work well when your talking about jets even when you play 4 games in 6 nights or whatever, the jets have to pretty much do that ALL season not just for part of a season, a few games
so throw that excuse out the window |

Yes I know.... Making fun of the Buffalo Bills.... the same Buffalo Bills that currently is playing games in Canada and will be re-located in Toronto before we know it.... Nice pic though - jetsfan6
Toronto will never land an NFL team. That is by far the worst Stadium in pro sports in Toronto. I dont care of the roof opens or not. University at Buffalo has a nicer football stadium that all of Canada, and they arent even a football school. |

Good thing you come in here doing all your re-search first...
The bills do that because they make $5 million more per game in toronto currently than they would at home... Actually if i'm not mistaken the $8 Million the Bills pocket from Rogers is more than any team in the NFL makes per game aside from just a few major market teams. That $8 million is straight to pocket, the Bills don't have to pay anybody to do that, so they actually make more than just whats off the top.
Also they, nor anyone will be moving to Toronto anytime soon. None of those games have sold out, despite having a capacity of only 55,000 to reach. Rogers has failed miserably with that deal, and each side will only do it again if the price is lowered. The series from Toronto's view has been a big big failure. |

thats not what i said
i saw a bunch of posts like it was a long trip west blah blah it was part of the reason we lost etc............it wouldnt sound so bad if it wasnt for the fact the team you played was a eastern conf team who plays out west and has far more travel than you |

Rogers just cancelled one of the games from the contract. They gave it back to Buffalo although they already paid for it. Its falling apart. |

For me... A buffalo loss is as good as a Jets win.... I'll be here after your losses to Carolina and Boston...
Never liked your team or your fans. Dosen't mean I'm right but I feel the way I feel.

But you're missing the point... They've been home for 8 straight... so on this night they had the clear advantage... Don't think it's that hard to understand. |

what does the jets traveling all season have to do with Buffalo's performance tonight? Absolutely nothing. However, Buffalo playing 4 games in 6 nights traveling from anaheim to san jose to vancouver to winnipeg had quite an impact on Buffalo's performance tonight. |

And Canada is America's top hat, have a good night, although sleeping outside under those Winnipeg bridges is probably a pretty cold venture. |

Had to have been that pre-season game... They must figure they'll just lose more money hosting it, if they host they still have to pay people to sell the tickets, advertise, pay security at the game, and any other expenses included in hosting a Football game..
Apparently both sides have shown interest in re-newing, just not sure if it will happen... Can't see Rogers paying what they do per game, and I can't see the Bills doing it for anything other than a huge profit...
Not gonna lie as a season ticket holder since before I was born we haven't minded not having to pay that extra game... If the Bills were good though? I'd hate it... that place is dead every game their there... If you've ever been to the Ralph you're embarrassed by what Toronto shows for them.
I believe it's either %15 of all season ticket holders come from southern Ontario, or that Season ticket holders from Southern Ontario have gone up 15% since the deal... |

jets travel further and more often hence more fatique, just because it hasnt been as much lately doesnt mean they dont feel it, other teams play 4 games in 6 nights its the schedule cant female dog about it unless you want 29 other teams to do the same thing
the jets have to travel alot further throughout the season, and the trip through california to vancouver isnt as big as what the jets have to do on a regular basis |

and jets do terrible on the road... so if anything its evidence FOR the fact that long road trips do play a factor.
regardless, winnipeg wasn't tired after 8 games at home and having only played 2 games in a week. so them traveling more often really doesnt matter for this specific game |

15% of season ticket holders are from Ontario because they like to get to drink in a parking lot and do what they want. Most of them interviewed say they hate the Toronto deal because the games are overpriced and the experience sucks.
I dont care if they renew. I care of they win the games. |

Is this really that hard to understand?
we are not complaining about travel on the entire season.. We're complaining about TONIGHT....
It's also a common known fact that it's easier to adjust playing west to east than it is to adjust east to west. It would be easier for me to play a game at 4pm than it would be for me to play at 10 pm.
Winnipeg-2 games since Monday... all at home
Buffalo- 4 games since Wednesday all on the opposite side of the country...
If you really don't see that there is a distinct advantage in that you need some help. |

This past year when they kicked the crap out of the Skins it finally felt like a home game. It was fun. (I watched on tv). |
