So how long will Roy be allowed to ruin Pominville and Vanek on a line? It is past being a coincidence with Vanek and Roy. - Gunner Staal
its been obvious for the past 2 years, yet Lindy knows best. So maddening. If pommer and Vanek can produce with two guys named Paul, then its not them, its Roy. |

I was thinking more along the lines of the obvious. You trade for a young center. He statistically has yet to get going with 0 points with the Sabres so far. He is working on 6 games without of point. Why not put him with the best wingers who are also struggling.
For all the talk about not wanting to break up the 63 19 21 line, they only have registered 2 goals in 4 games. Stats arent everything in determining a line's success. But you better have more production than that to be considered untouchable. - Gunner Staal
I said that from day 1.
Put Hodgson with Pominville and Vanek for the rest of the season. |

Lindy is too stubborn to admit his mistake and do it though........... - rapperray
Lindy'd not dumb, right?
I hope having cody on the 2nd line was just so he could acclimate with ennis. He got lucky and the Sabres went on a win streak and that line was dynamic. His plan has to be centering him with skilled players. |

Bottom Line: Team is no better except for Miller; Miller won 3 games on the west coast swing; any other goalie and go 0-4 on the trip. Sabres averaged less than 2 goals a game with ZERO points from the top line. |

Not so sure, I just checked the National Historic Landmark site and there seemed to be a lot better options than Derek Roy. |

Unfortunately the Sabres could fill a whole national park with players who fit that tagline right now |

when vanek decides to disappear the only thing that can bring him back is himself.. they should try making him a healthy scratch to see if wakes his ass up.. and the way he is playing i can't see Foligno being worse |

Why does it seem like the Sabres have more enigmatic talent that goes through prolonged slumps because we think they are "head cases" than most teams in the league?
Roy, Vanek, Stafford, Leino, and Miller at times
The responsibility of a coach is to put his players in the best position to succeed on the ice. How many times has Bill Belichick taken over the hill cast-offs from other NFL teams that appeared done and found a niche for them to succeed on his team.
I've always supported Lindy, but I'm starting to think he doesn't have the best pulse of the players on his team, put them in the best position to succeed, or instill the confidence in them that is necessary to be successful. |

He's failed on his last 2, Haynesworth and Johnson.
Just saying. |
