The wierdest (if thats a word) end to a Stanley Cup I've ever seen. - stveshdy
It was like somebody had knocked the wind out of me, simply stunned. I didn't believe for a second we could lose. The realization of how long the way back would be really hurt.

I was hoping that what Kane had thought he saw for a moment was the buttend of Leighton's stick on the net and reacted that that. But once you saw the players faces even before the replays you knew it was over.

I still cant figure out how Leighton missed the puck. Of all people it had to be Kane (who we should of had). Unbelieveable.
For what it's worth, I'm 0-1. I was down for Hexy night. Again though I couldn't have been more off when I first said they weren't very good with pregame festivities this morning.
I can't seem to understand or even connect with all the "trade JvR" talk. He's a former high first round draft pick for the Flyers. He's the only high prospect (if you can consider him a prospect anymore) who's a natural winger. In my opinion he's the only player who's going to be on Giroux's level. Couturier, Schenn and Cousins are all centerman. We need a guy for Giroux to build chemistry with and JvR is that guy. They looked great together up until this season and this is only because they haven't played together and JvR has been hurt.
It was crazy. People didnt know to cheer or boo. Chicago players looked lost. Flyers were looking around like whats going on. One crazy game. - stveshdy
