I will agree it was predatory. That is Kronwall's MO. The only way to put a stop to it is to start running Zetterberg and Datsyuk. As I said, the only way Kronwall avoids head contact there is to avoid the hit altogether.

Exactly.....I put it all on Voracek. End of his shift and he got lazy/careless, he looked up and saw Kronwall, then put his head down!?! I would say predatory if Voracek never had a chance to look at him....Voracke was out on that shift for a long ass time

You could tell he was out by the way he put up his hands to defend himself about 5 seconds after he actually got hit. You hate seeing that.

Thought he was going to become a 20 goal man when he was in Hull, but didn't think so after those low scoring years. No, didn't think so for this year. His real value anyways is in the playoffs.

Well, I wont go that far as to blame Voracek completely. I actually think Voracek was looking cross ice and never saw Kronwall.

Kronwall tried to kill Read about 45 seconds before that. Same side of the ice, same type of play. Read saw him just in time.

the real dirty part of the hit by kronwall was that he bated voracek into thinking he was backing off, when jake took the cue he put his elbow into jake's face. to me that makes the hit an absolute cheap shot. and a head shot, gotta be a suspension.

the only thing about that is Kronwall was almost stationary when Voracek looked up and saw him ... and then once Voracek looked back down at the puck Kronwall saw his opportunity for a big hit, and took off right at Voracek looking to lay the shoulder on him.

Not necessarily an illegal hit ... but a clear intent to injure. Pretty dirty, imo.
