sure it's subjective
but no matter what, leaving voracek flailing on the ice with no whistle was BS
and shanahan better be looking at it, with all of his new rules in mind. - Don'tForgetTocchet
I'm sure he has already looked at it. It's going to be interesting to see what happens. I don't think there will be any supplemental discipline, but if there is I won't be disappointed obviously. |

How can it not be the primary target when that is what he hit? - wolfhounds
Really?
If I go to punch someone in the head and they move and I hit the wall behind him, using your logic, my primary target is the wall.

A player not paying close enough attention to his surroundings, and getting hit directly in the head by the checking player. - BringBack25
Jake looked up at Kronwall before he touched the puck...there's no debating that. Clement was saying how Kronwall 'baits' players by backing up and then moving in to bury them.
Sounds like intent to injure to me.

I think tomorrow at noon it will be decided. I can't imagine anyone claiming him. |

the bottom line is this: was the head targeted? most likely, was the primary point of contact the head? yes, did the player being hit move suddenly prior to or simultaneous to the hit? no, was the hit avoidable? yes, could the player have let up to lessen contact? yes, did the player let up? no.
those are indisputable facts that make that hit suspendable |

WTF?
No, your primary target was 'someone', but how do I know what part when you apparently can't connect with any? |

Was put in place in 1992. So whats your point? - joepa90
Thought it was later than that. Doesn't really matter though. Guys like Stevens and Kronwall are gonna do what they do (did) regardless imo. Ulf Samuelsson did most of his deeds before the instigator came into effect. |
