He's a decent player but not worth 5.5...but just goes along with all the other terrible contracts in this league

I'm not completely sold on that, especially since we're talking about another year of experience for Bourdon and Gusty, but it's also a matter of $ and contract length. And also have more than 1 player on our blue line who hits. Let alone 2 players who can handle any big body in front of Bryz.

They won't be able to provide the puck movement and offensive play that Carle provides. It's about the mix of players on the back end. And puck movement is paramount in today's game. If they lose Carle they better bring someone in to replace him other then what is already in the system.

I don't read his garbage because I think he only posts for hits, not to impart knowledge.

Well curiousity hit me so I went into the bloggers and saw Barry there and the blog that has been removed is still there. He talked in his blog about being editied and blah bla blah.

If this is the end for that guy on this site, let me be the first to say:

Later loser! Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!

If he goes to the open market I dont want any part of Suter.. it could get ugly quick.

Hell if anything wait...Timonen has sputtered in the stretch the past 2 seasons... use money to resign Carle and Grossman and add a guy like Corvo.. and wait till the following season to look for a d-man when Timonen comes off the books.
