I argue that HE is the best player from Russia in the draft. Would kill for him to be drafted by the Leafs but I just can't see him making it to the 2nd round |

He's the best in Russia, but Yakupov and Grigorenko are much higher. |

You've talked a lot about Slepyshev. Where do you see him going in the draft? Any reason for concern that he'll never come over? |

Early to late second round, the only concern is that the team he plays for is in the boonies and really only Dmitri Orlov and Sergei Bobrovsky have been NHL players from there. I think he'd come over. |

Well, he sounds like a player. I don't usually put too much stock in if a player plays out of a program few to none have graduated from. Has to start with one player right? Although, the opposite is different. Tried and true programs that pump out the prospects are usually pretty set and you can get insight from those running the show as to how they compare with previous draft studs. |

Thats crazy, they've produced hard hitting and the always motivated Stewart brothers and then they've produced... umm... Gudbranson? And...
Yeah, the Fronts suck. Although I can say that there is a legit changing of the guard there. It'll take time but they at least show up to rinks now and look competitive. |

BTW still confused as to all the hype on Forsberg, was I the only one that thought 1 point while averaging the most PP time for forwards on Sweden was unacceptable? |

I actually have no opinion on Forsberg though so I'd have to use scouting reports, which I always hate.

The Fronts just need Mav to retire or get hit by a bus... And Gilmour was the worse coach in the league, he did not even live in Kingston. He would not even travel on the team bus for road trips, hard to play for a guy that has no interest in the team. It must be hard for the players to get pumped up for home games when only playing in front of 500-1000 people each night. The Krock centre has been a massive fail when it comes to hockey, and does not look to be getting any better. On a high not my son's timbit team will be playing at the game tonight during the first intermission. |

Still living off the U-18 hype, yet all I can think of is one "Victor Rask" |
