Yeah, the Habs need a true franchise centerman like him. If they can just hold on to their prospects and draft picks, I don't see why they won't be a really good team in a few years. And hopefully they don't give Cunneyworth the axe just because of the language he speaks because everything I've heard about him makes me think he'll be a great coach.

Not much, at work, cleared a bunch of ice and snow off the back patio today. It was up around 8C today so poop is starting to melt. If I don't keep the patio clear it all ends up in my basement.

Yeah it's really intriguing... but he's not the first guy who benefits from that tournament. Tom Wilson surely does too.

If you look at the stats of Patrik Berglund in the Allvenskan in his draft year, it wasn't really better as he had 4 pts in 21 games.

Forsberg on the other hand had an average production with 17 pts in 43 games, and it's still way better than what Berglund produced back then.

Yes the Allvenskan is a 2nd tier competition , but it's still a professionnal league even though it's the relegation league for the worst teams in the SEL.

I'm not comparing both players, but Ovi didn't have earthshaking numbers either in his draft year, even though he had a way better display at the WJC.
