Um, no. Matthew, Mark, and John were his disciples. Luke was with Paul just 5+/- years after Jesus' death and resurrection. Peter wrote his own epistles as did John.

Twenty years ago, if he had that position and actively researched it , he'd probably have different positions than the ones he has. I wanted to female dog slap him earlier this week when he said that folks here in Kentucky should have prayed harder if they didn't want to get hit by all those tornadoes last Friday. It made me feel a bit better about him, to read his comments on the herb, he sounds as though he thinks some things through when he talks about the irrationality of someone getting tossed in the slammer for possession of a joint and the fact that we have major prison overcrowding in large part due to incarceration of a lot of non-violent potheads, but in general Pat says a lot of stupid poop.
