Remember when the Flyers had a full lineup with the exception of Pronger two games ago? Those were the days. |

Jagr's likely going to be spotted on the PP and select shifts with Giroux and Hartnell....but yeah, why not just play Harry Z? - Jsaquella
I hear you, but how often has Jagr come back from injury and had to leave the game early, leaving the team short-handed. With Shelley already in playing sparingly they would essentially be down to 10 forwards, and it would set Jagr back. Just sit him out. It really makes no sense letting him play this game. |

I agree. No need for Jagr to play tonight if he's going to log Shelley-esque ice time. |

I don't see what's wrong with playing with basically a 3 line team for one game. And having Jagr available for spot 5 on 5 play, and the PP. It's crunch time. All hands on deck. 2 important points on the line. I trust the team and trust Jagr. Have no choice.

If they were desperate for two points I would say ok, let him play. He can help the PP, but they are firmly entrenched in a playoff spot, 10 points in the clear. Odds are with the way they are banged up and the Penguins getting healthy they aren't going to get home ice anyway. And the Flyers are a better road team anyhow.

I agree. If he can't play a regular shift, sit him until he can. If he can't skate pain free, at worst, he's risking worsening the injury. At best, he'll be a huge defensive liability, not that he is a Bob Gainey to begin with. |

No doubt. The coach and or GM continually let him talk his way into the lineup instead of just telling him he's not playing. The outcome has been Jagr departing several games early and leaving the team short. I don't get it. |

I wish Jagr would start dumping the puck in deep instead of trying to beat three players. |
