I'm still not in love, and he wasn't my first choice (that woulda been Vokoun), but he has started to give me some hope like you said. Way more than at any point this season. I guess the little meeting the leadership guys had with him has really pumped him up. He is quite the character that's for sure.

You have to admit. A little strange how the guy can go from not being able to stop anything to practically unbeatable. The goals he did allow against the Wings were good shots. Plain and Simple.

See I don't fear their attack. I think they are just opportunistic. If you don't give them opportunity they won't make a lot happen. Richards and Gaborik can but the rest of them just seem like glorified third liners to me. Now the Flyers, they have Giroux, Briere, Jagr, Hartnell, Read, Simmonds etc. who all make stuff happen. When they try to be opportunistic we see1-0 or 2-1 losses and in some cases 6-1

Then again the Rangers could take their game to another level in the playoffs and then just forget it because I don't think any of the other teams have much higher of a level to go to and that includes the Flyers.

They make their opportunities with the checking and puck support game they have. That is real. That is the best way to play. As a team. And is how the Flyers played tonight against Florida. Defense creates offense. It always has.
