i will check it out. thanks. i'm a huge Nabokov fan (not the goalie). Dostoevsky's shorter work, Note from the Underground, was a favorite of mine when I was younger. Bulgakov too. - wilsonecho91
omg
love nabby so much and bulgakov's master and marg is one of my all time favoritest ever
** do you like goncharev's oblomov? whilst trying to spellcheck myself i see there is a movie from 1980, might have to search that out
i agree in part, but how many times have you seen a team have a brutal first round series and then just be too burnt to continue on? i want the easiest road possible. avoiding the caps and pens in 010 was definitely a reason why they made it to the finals, imo. - Crimsoninja
The preds gave the blackhawks their toughest battle in the playoffs in their cup run. I think that was the first round. Always a Yin to the Yang, I'm going to root for a Pens matchup.

don't know oblomov i don't think. i will look into it.
I thought he would only get 1-2 games but the distinction between the Kronwall hit and the Green hit are black and white in my mind. Shanahan got it right imo.

For one, he hit him with his elbow. And here you can definitely say he targeted his head because if he did not hit his head, he would have hit nothing.
Kronwall was at least aiming for the middle of Voraceks chest with his shoulder, and Voracek just happened to duck in to the hit.

The difference is pretty plain. - MBFlyerfan
I didn't say there wasn't any difference between the two hits. But saying where Kronwall was aiming is an assumption in my opinion. In my opinion Shanahan missed the boat on the Voracek hit. And along with some differences, the main one is that the player Green hit was already engaged by another player. But there are also similarities in that a vulnerable player was targeted, and which is the main part of Rule 48, the head was the principal point of contact. And I don't beleive that Voracek ducked to the hit.
