You continue to miss the point, that he is already under contract. No amount of your whining will change that fact.

I wouldn't worry about that guy too much...seems to me like he is just bitter that you guys may be able to add a potentially significant piece to your offense for the playoffs and that makes him mad because how dare anyone other than vancouver do everything they can to make their team the best possible. I hope you guys do get him and make a deep run this year...it will go a long way as far as keeping weber and suter happy and make your city a more attractive destination for free agents

Wow. Can you give an example, because my bias is clearly clouding my judgement.

Can you give an example where a player bailed on his contractual obligations to the team because he wanted to live in Europe/play for Euro team? While maintaining a residence in the city of his NA team...

Hudler did it. Why wasn't he playing for the Wings in the playoffs after his season in Russia was over?

I don't think he should be allowed to play since he played this season in Europe. I can see why he wants to burn off his last year of crappy rookie contract while only playing a handfull of games so he can get big bucks next season and the Preds want him to boost their offense knowing this would count as a full season.

Hudler's situation isn't the same as Radulov's. No one's is. That's why no matter which board you are on, there's non stop arguing over it. But according to everyone who has spoken out on the subject in the media, it looks like Radulov will not have a problem coming back in the middle of a season IF he wants too.

It looks like Radulov is coming back within a week. This was just released: http://hockeypravda.ru/news/show_news.php?id=11512

This has been confirmed via a russian poster on another site and said it sounds like Rads is for sure coming back within a week. Google Translate also shows same thing.

Because Hudler didn't plan on coming back as soon as his KHL season ended. To the best of my knowledge he decided to come back after the NHL season had ended. Also in Hudler's case he didn't have an existing contract. He left while he was an RFA. And to my knowledge all RFAs either ones that flea to Russia or just hold out have a deadline to sign early in the season or they become ineligible for the whole year. Turris just went through it.
