he is intense in fights. you don't expect it out of such a skinny guy but holy hell he throws em.

A lot of folks were sober-minded when it came to Bryz. New team, new system, etc. We all had doubts and hope. Just not all of us were complaining about his salary, his speeches, etc. Of course, not all of us complain 24/7 either.

I'm freakin ecstatic about the way this team is playing right now. It's almost not fair that their two most likely 1st rd playoff scenarios are either the Rangers or Penguins because this team could do some serious damage with the right matchups.

Would it be too much to ask to "accidentally" drop to 6 and play Florida? (Yes, bc Florida will not win the division because they are crap.)

He's a bad man. Wins his fights decisively almost every time. Talk about a guy who has exceeded expectations...wow. Who knows if the rest of their careers will continue on their respective tracks, but Simmonds is singlehandedly making the trade for Richards a huge win for the Flyers. Schenn is just the icing on the cake.

I think the key to his success with the fights is his balance. Shelley, Sestito, even Rinaldo all seem like they lose their balance at some point in the fight, and that's usually when things start to go bad for them. I don't recall ever seeing Simmonds lose his balance during a fight. I'm sure it must have happened sometime, but I don't remember it.

speaking of which, i hate how a lot of fights lately it just seems like one guy tries to knock the other off balance and wrestle him down, to which the home crowd react like it's a big win
