They've played better since Carter's arrival. Right on the bubble which isn't near where they should be

the rookies have all done an excellent job. If they weren't able to step up their game the Flyers would have been in trouble.

Maybe some of these injuries on d, will help come playoff time. Getting Kimmo some rest. With that being said I'd like to see this team have the same players for the last few weeks, so they can try to get lines worked out for the playoffs.

In order for that to happen, the LAK have to make the playoffs first. Mike Richards has one goal in his last 33 games. Just insane.

How bout this thought, Penguins catch the Rangers and win the Division, setting up a first round series between the Rags and Flyers.

Well, the Rangers just happen to be a tough draw this season. When it comes to the Penguins, though, I'm nervous about any series against them. Maybe it's the taste left in my mouth after the last two times it happened.

Looking at the remaining schedules of the Pens and Rangers, the Rangers have the far easier schedule. 8 of their remaining games are against teams currently not in a playoff position. Even if Crosby comes back tomorrow, as rumored it will be hard for the Penguins to win the Division barring a Rangers collapse.

If the Pens get Letang and Crosby healthy, that would be a really hard series to win for the Flyers, or anyone else.

I'd go with Max Talbot. Hartnell isn't really Captain material in my opinion.

Hadn't thought of him, Talbot would be a good fit. Then again, I'd not given much thought to moving the C.

In time, Giroux is more than likely going to be the captain. I think it'd be understandable if the franchise is a bit nervous about handing the C to a young star too early, though.

Any idea what the timetable on Letang is? Either way, that team won't make it easy on whoever they play. They've succeeded through all sorts of injuries through recent history, and our latest playoffs record against them has me feeling no lead is safe against them. For the Flyers to reach the SCF this year, they would likely have to go through at least two of NYR, BOS, and PIT. And it's possible they would have to play all 3. That would be an impossible road for any team.

I loved the signing when it was done in the summer, and he hasn't disappointed me yet.

Homer should be in jail for the number of robberies he's made as a GM.
