I'd go with Max Talbot. Hartnell isn't really Captain material in my opinion.

Hartsy needs to have his happy go lucky going to be successful. When he's happy he gets going and gains confidence and it just grows. I think having the C would inhibit that.

Besides, imagine how some of his antics would go over if he wore the C. Let Hartsy be Hartsy.

And I'm happy without a C right now. The A is heavy enough for G.

Giroux is probably and obvious choice also. But I'd prefer he just concentrate on being the franchise player.

Maybe the players have seen the loss of their captain as something to rally around or something? It is an opportunity for every player to step up and lead.

Well good luck,, but the Leafs are playing okay offensively but lousy defensively. I think they are poised for a breakout game under the new coach, not sure if its tonight but im 90% certain we will play ourselves out of a good draft pick.

5pts,, and we are competing with 4 teams for that last spot, who are all playing better than the leafs.. we are only 2 points up on NYI and CAR and 5 on MTL. so a good draft pick, top 4 is doable.

Im gonna go out on a limb here and guess hes already tried that. We are a little tougher with rosehill in the lineup, not sure if brown is 100%, but if he is then hartnell better not run around too much
